AFL-320, 280 & 240 Pentax manufactures the worlds only auto focus automatic level. A touch of the auto focus button brings the image into sharp focus. Manufactured in 24, 28 and 32 power, this series of levels will meet your needs from construction layout to precise control level circuits. Unique auto focus technology is incorporated into the AFL (Auto Focus Level) series. Troublesome focusing now becomes automatic with the simple press of one button the only requirement. Time is saved and the operator fatigue is reduced for greater efficiency. The AF/MF dial selects auto focus(AF) or manual focus(MF). This enables manual focusing for those special situations where auto focus is not appropriate. This phase-matching system features Pentax’s new technology called "SAFOX" (Sensor Ability Fortifying Optical Compensation System) in its optical system for outstanding sharpness, ensuring excellent focusing accuracy and response. In fact, it can focus on a subject with extreme accuracy in less than 3 seconds from infinity to 0.6m, even under such adverse conditions as EV 2 level darkness. Thanks to the incorporation of SAFOX and this compensation system, the AFL auto-focusing system has achieved unparalleled focusing accuracy for a super-accurate target image. The telescope is waterproof to JIS 6 specifications (complete block, from any direction, of water entrance). Objective lens assembly is nitrogen filled so that in rain or high humidity, the telescope will remain clear and work can easily continue.

AL-240, 320p & 320s This AL series of automatic level features a waterproof (JIS class 6) and nitrogen filled objective lens compartment which prevents moisture condensation on the lenses. The AL 240, 24 power, features a short (12 inch) focus distance. The AL-320p has dual speed focus and the AL-320s features dual speed focus and an enclosed glass horizontal circle. AL-180, 200, & 220 Rugged, dependable and designed for use in construction of all types. They are manufactured in 18x, 20x and 22x power with the same basic concepts in design and durability as our most expensive automatic levels.
