The unit is a CE sunlight readable colour palm computer and is fully sealed with a tough transparent screen membrane. A modified connector ensures you will not damage the serial port, unlike other flimsy palm devices. Serious damage will occur on standard palm devices if external GPS cable is snagged as they were designed for "suitcoats." This system is the only one on the market availble with this absolute necessity in ruggedisation. The 2007 is available with the Micronics TUSANI Wearable GPS or other Imported GPS systems and can replace your outdated cumbersome data logger. *Starpal or *ArcPad software is loaded as standard. ArcPad is preferred if you wish to take compressed raster images in the field. A dual RS232 port version 2007 is available for clients wishing to connect Magnetometers, or external sensors such as laser range finders, soil conductivity meters (EM38), tree callipers or bar code readers.
