TPS System 700 - Thoroughbred or workhorse. The right breed for every task.

Do your survey tasks vary a great deal from day to day?

Then one of the total stations in the new TPS700 Performance Series from Leica Geosystems is the ideal instrument for you. With it, you will be able to perform all of those classical survey tasks such as staking out, point surveys for land registers and for mapping, and simple determinations of distances and angles.

The TPS700 Performance Series makes your everyday work a lot easier in other ways as well - by virtue of its large display, for example, or its alphanumeric keyboard on both faces; or because of the useful on-board programs and the well-structured data management. The Leica SurveyOffice software supplied with the instrument enables you to integrate data smoothly into your calculation program or to transfer the results of your survey directly to a GIS system.

As well as being one of the fastest total stations on the market, the TPS700 is one of the lightest and most compact, which simply allows you to concentrate on your surveying tasks.

TPS700 is your fastest workhorse - use its power to reach your targets faster and more skilfully!

TCR 702 / 703 / 705

The TCR models of the TPS700 Performance Series have a distancer that does not need a reflector. This makes measuring extra fast: Target the point with the red laser dot, measure, read off. It's that easy. Accurate as well - thanks to the precision provided by Leica Geosystems.

The slender housing of the distancer contains two different coaxial laser systems. One of them produces an invisible infrared laser beam, the other a visible red beam. The invisible beam is used for conventional measurements to prisms or to reflector tapes. With the visible laser you can measure to targets that are accessible only with difficulty or not at all. You switch between the two lasers with a single touch on a key. The resulting distances and target-point coordinates are given directly and do not need post-processing. You can measure to frontages, and you can determine the dimensions of rooms. You can set out tunnel profiles, and you can record profiles and structures in general. You can leave the visible red laser beam switched on permanently and use it for targeting. This is quicker than having to look through the telescope.

You can also use the red laser beam to measure very long distances, for which the infrared laser would not be powerful enough. Measuring with the TCR total stations from Leica Geosystems saves a lot of time and the cost of an assistant to hold and carry the reflector pole. TPS700 is your fastest workhorse - use its power to reach your targets faster and more skilfully!

LEICA TC605/L, TC805/L, TC905/L

TPS System 100 -  Quick and easy total stations

New generation of total stations emphasizes quick and easy operation

Measure faster, more easily and more accurately with Leica's new TC605/L, TC805/L, TC905/L series of total stations. Geared for fast and easy fieldwork, these total stations provide the quickest path to the final result. New innovations include:

  • World's first built-in laser plummet

  • Unique "Quick Code" function
  • Faster measuring and recording
  • Flexible data-output format
  • Easily-learned operation, using practice related functions

A world first: Built-in laser plummet for faster instrument set-up

No longer do you have to look through the eyepiece of an optical plummet. A red laser spot, visible even in low-light conditions, indicates the center of the instrument on the ground. Simply put the instrument on the tripod above the reference point and center it to better than 1 mm. To check the plummet, simply turn the instrument.

Quick Code: Ten different items of code information assigned to the numerical keyboard

A numerical keyboard enables numbers and alphanumeric characters to be entered directly. With the "Quick coding" function, the point is coded quickly and easily. The first 10 lines of the codelist are assigned to the associated numerical keys on the keyboard. The advantage: Just one keystroke measures and records angle, distance, calculate coordinates, point number, and code information in only 1.3 seconds

Flexible data-output format

You can now readily match the data-output format to virtually any type of post-processing software, using the customized formats. The data format is loaded directly into the instrument.

A readable field-book format can also of course be easily created this way. The "TcTools" program is used for transferring the coordinates and data to and from the computer. This program, and a data-transfer cable, form part of the basic equipment of this new and exciting total station range.

Easily-learned operation, using practice related functions

The applications programs stored in the instrument cover measurement tasks such as entering the job, inputting the station and orientation of the instrument, setting-out, free-station positioning, missing line (tie distance), areas, rapid measurement and station & offset (Reference line).
